Blessings to the Max

Ya know when you have a weekend that completely blows your mind with excitement? That is exactly how I feel right now. I am currently sitting on my comfy bed recovering from one of the greatest weekends of my college life. I will give all of you a day by day summary so you can get the full effect!

Friday is already great in itself because it is the end of the week and all I get to do for the next three days is lounge. God graced Stillwater with beautiful weather which always gives me the energy to be productive. After attempting to survive a long afternoon workout, I spent the rest of the afternoon cleaning and doing laundry. Pete and I decided to dedicate Friday night to us. It was one of his only days off work this week so we went out and did what couples do, right?! We went to get dinner and saw a fantastic movie. If you haven't had a chance to see The Lorax, GO SEE IT. I have a horrible obsession with children movies.

Pete worked all Saturday so I spent the day with the greatest friends on earth. We decided to drive to Oklahoma City and do some shopping before spring break. Isn't it just great when you can be in the car and talk the whole way there with some of the most amazing people? I am so thankful to have such amazing friends to share so many memories with. After spending money that I shouldn't have spent, we ate dinner at a famous fried chicken place. Eischen's in Okarche, OK has been featured on one of Pete and I's favorite shows, Diners, Drive Ins, and Dives. I will put the link to the episode so you can check it out.

After waiting an hour and a half, I stuffed my huge belly with way too many pieces of chicken and way too much fried okra. I mean it's not like I am going to the beach soon anyway right? It will probably take me two weeks to work off all those calories. I am a city girl and have never been to a town so small. I got a little picture happy at times but who doesn't love capturing moments when you gained 15 ell-bees in one sitting? I have a feeling you might even gain a few pounds just from smelling the grease outside the restaurant.
Sorry it was so dark.
Sunday my boyfriend signed a lease on an apartment!! It has been so exciting to watch him go through so many changes and today I watched him make a huge decision. I could not be more happy for him. A huge thanks goes to my wonderful mother for making a trip to Stillwater to help him decide! I am so blessed to have Pete in my life and I am so proud of how well he has handled all these changes. Can't wait for him to cook me some dinner in that gorgeous apartment of his.
Why does the weekend have to end so quickly?
