Time flies when you're having fun.

 2008
Yesterday my boyfriend and I celebrated our three year anniversary. Three years is a long time considering we are only 20 years old. We spent our day together realizing that no special celebration would occur. Let's face it, we are both college students without jobs, who just bought Christmas presents for each of our family members. We are BROKE. We went to visit Pete's grandparents in Sapulpa for the day. Grandparents are the greatest. After being with Pete for three years, I feel like I have been adopted into his family and I know he feels the same about mine. It was so great to be with his grandparents yesterday. After leaving Sapulpa, we ran a few last minute Christmas errands and then came back home. We spent the rest of the night at home snuggled in our PJ's. Pete had his Christmas here last night with my parents. [Speaking of Christmas, I still have to find his gift.] Pete opened the presents from my parents and my parents opened the presents we bought them. I find so much joy in watching Pete open presents. Seeing him so excited and happy gives me a warm, fuzzy feeling inside. Our big HOORAH for the night was to go eat Krispy Kreme at 10:00 at night. Don't worry, we know it's not healthy and it's considered a sugar overload but who cares, right?! My stomach wasn't too happy when I shoved 2 warm, yummy donuts into my tummy, though. Although our three year anniversary wasn't spent in a limo ride around Rhema or a $100 dinner date, I couldn't care less.

What's better than lounging around in your PJ's with your best friend all night stuffing your face with donuts?

I am so thankful for Pete and the relationship that we have. God has truly blessed both of our lives with each other and I couldn't be more grateful to be able to spend these past three years with Pete. We have experienced several changes through out these three years that have made our relationship what it is today. We are so thankful for everyone in our lives. A special thanks to those people who have supported us the whole way and cheered us on through every step of our relationship.
